For some reason, I went with mostly purple for this page.

The purple looks great. Gives the page a calm feel.

Call me shallow, but I love how top-heavy you draw some of the women.

Hmm, I'm not sure what is the right way to respond to that. Some authors seem to dislike readers complimenting them on certain things, as if there is such a thing as negative compliments. That there are things that readers should like, and then things that you shouldn't want readers liking.

A compliment about the top-heavy women to me seems like a compliment, just as if you had said that you liked the smaller-busted women in the comic. Or you said that you liked the blue-eyed characters.

???? I did not mean it as an insult in any way. I wasn't aware my comment could be taken as a negative compliment. But I suspect that particular subject may be sensitive to you...especially comments coming from me. Is there a list of aspects about your art you don't want comments on?

If you don't want me commenting any more on your comic, just say so and I shall leave you alone.

Sorry, I didn't explain what I meant properly. I think I was trying to be too indirect.

In other comics I see that often when people compliment certain things, the author often seems to be unhappy about it. I was just commenting that I'm not sure how someone else would respond to a comment like that, or how someone would suggest someone to respond to that. It almost seems like they think there are negative compliments.

I agree with your original statement. I like having a very top-heavy character or two in a comic. It's always nice to have variety. My comics are probably always aimed more towards busty characters (Lucy could be the busty one in certain comics by other authors, not the small-busted one). It wouldn't be that way if that wasn't what I wanted. I meant I wasn't sure how honest most other authors would be in agreeing that they also liked certain aspects of their characters. I think Annie is very attractive here.

I don't think any kind of comment would offend me. I welcome any kinds of comments from you or anyone else.

No, I think it's mine. I gave a unclear response. "Yeah, certain body types can be fun to draw" would have been better.
